Alternatively, you can reach Little Venice from Warwick Avenue’s Tube station with a ten-minute walk. From the station, head south on Warwick Avenue and you’ll soon find Rembrandt Gardens and the waterways on your right hand side.
Parking is on meters during the week and free on weekends. Most guests use the Just Park App to find cheap local parking. Type in 1 Warwick Crescent, W26NE
Sam’s boat interior design and location are both spectacular. Her interior remodel of her other boat, Velvet Morning, even made it into a published book of world’s best houseboats (on this boat’s coffee table to enjoy). We loved the breakfast she had for us, especially the bread, and carried it to France and continued to enjoy it. We would love to stay on her boat again sometime !!! We were completely indulged staying on Sam’s boat on that peaceful part of the canal and hated, just hated to leave!!
I adored staying here and wish I’d booked more than two nights!! A charming little space. Fully stocked kitchen and very warm with the wood burning stove. The back bedroom is incredibly comfortable and the bathtub is a very nice touch.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars ... it was awesome! location, amenity, communication everything thank you!
The design of the Papillon was warm and minimalistic in the perfect amounts. The kitchen was well-appointed and special touches like bread and honey were so very appreciated. The wood stove is a joy, and the design magazines brilliant to look through. It’s a quirkier stay than any hotel, and so very worth it.
We had such a special stay on the barge in Little Venice. Really comfortable bed and great location! Wish we could have stayed longer.
We had the loveliest time staying on board Velvet Morning. This beautiful boat had everything we needed and more. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and the interior is super stylish. Little Venice is the perfect mooring spot; unbelievably quiet and peaceful but 5 minutes from the shops and bars of Paddington and a quick 15 minute tube ride into the West End. We also had a gorgeous walk along the canal to Primrose Hill. We used the discount provided in the two local pubs/restaurants, both of which were great. The host, Sam, is delightful, and could not have been more friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed the unique experience of staying on a canal boat in Little Venice. The location was so convenient to transportation, in the centre of London, but you would never know a city was mere meters away. It was so quiet, peaceful and picturesque. Sam was very helpful with orienting us to the boat and helping us to get settled in. She provided lots of information about restaurants and sights nearby. The bed was super cozy and we had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We highly recommend a holiday aboard Boutique Barges!
This was one of my top favorite AirB stays! I wish I could live on this boat. So cozy with the fireplace and everything you need. Beautiful design and super close to many tube stops and Paddington station. This is a perfect place to those that like a unique adventure and picturesque surroundings.
Amazing- the best stay in london hands down. Great location, beautiful barge - could not have asked for a better stay !
The most amazing trip staying on the Velvet Morning. The barge was everything I wanted it to be. Beautifully decorated with every attention to detail. Great location. Definitely want to come back.
Staying on the big boat made our days in London even more special. The boat is beautifully decorated and has everything one needs during a city trip. Sam was very kind and welcomed us and provided us with the necessary information.
Velvet Morning was a great boat, it was my second stay on her, with my wife and 8 year old child. Paddington Basin and Little Venice are so convenient to Paddington station and are lovely areas in themselves. Thank you so much for the great stay.
Fantastic stay! Rare to get such space and complete privacy in the centre of London. The goat is beautifully decorated, simple and classy. Highly recommended for a couples getaway. Thanks Sam!
The location in Little Venice, besides being on a canal, is convenient to Paddington Station, Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace to name a few. Sam met us and gave us a lesson in operating various items on the Narrow Boat that differ from standard apartments. She was very helpful in pointing out activities as well as shopping locations and good restaurants nearby. She also stocked a few items for breakfast to get us started. Narrow Boats are not spacious but the space worked out for the three of us without a problem. Sam is always available and easy to communicate with through texting.
We had a great time on the boat. So central but feels worlds away from your typical London accommodation. Sam and Ella were very friendly and attentive hosts. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Myself and family stayed on Big Boat this April 2024 for the weekend and we totally enjoyed it. From the point of booking to leaving we were looked after by Sam who is absolutely marvellous We arrived to a beautifully designed, spotlessly clean boat equipped with all we could need plus fresh provisions for hot drinks artisan bread, eggs and preserves. The boat is well pre-portioned and accommodated three adults easily. Everything was to such a high standard . Sam was on hand for anything we needed. We left feeling very relaxed and will definitely be returning again .
Staying on the Big Boat was such a lovely experience! The boat itself has all the comforts and amenities you would need during your stay and is in a fab location for getting out and about in London. We will definitely be back one day and recommend anyone to give Boutique Barges a go!
